Chip Cafiero aka Santa, was handed the £77 fine while he gave out presents in his horse-drawn carriage.

£17.3 million awarded to horse sport

The British Equestrian Federation’s (BEF) World Class Programme has been awarded £17.3 million in the run up to the 2012 Olympics.
The money is part of funding of nearly £300 million for the London Olympic and Paralympic Games, from 2009 until to 2013.
Pony rescued from swimming pool

A 35-year-old pony was rescued by firemen last Thursday after falling into a swimming pool.
The pony fell into a pool full of water in Essex. Firefighter Matt Goulle said the pony had managed to climb out of the water when he arrived, but that the pony was distressed and lying by the side of the [...]
